Lurline Aslanian, L.C.S.W

Education, Training, and Experience

Lurline Aslanian graduated from Mount Holyoke College and went on to receive a Masters Degree in Social Work from Columbia University. She furthered her clinical training by earning a Certificate in Psychoanalysis and Psychotherapy at the Postgraduate Center for Mental Health in New York City, a four year full time program. She then earned a Certificate in the Supervision of the Therapeutic Process.

In 1984, Lurline left her private practice in New York City and moved to Sarasota, Florida. She began exploring her interest in consciousness and holistic healing. She was certified as a yoga teacher at the Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health and she studied meditation with several different teachers. She was trained as a volunteer by the local Hospice and spent some years sitting vigil and offering Reiki to Hospice patients.

Lurline is the mother of two and grandmother of three.
